Every Sunday, our main weekly gathering
10.30am-12.00pm, Durham Students Union
Our meetings always begin with worship in order to bring our focus towards Jesus our King. We believe in giving space and time to praise God, to celebrate his work in creation, salvation and our future hope, and allowing him to speak to us through the Holy Spirit.
Also central to Sunday Mornings is the preaching of Scripture and our normal pattern is to work systematically through a book of the Bible.
Another important part of our meetings is the opportunity to have fellowship with one another and we encourage everyone to stay for teas and coffees after the meeting.
If you have kids, see our Children section for details of our children's groups.
Sundays during Durham University term time
6.00-7.00pm, The Appleby Rooms
Crux is a shorter meeting - only an hour long. We begin each week with songs of worship, read the scriptures, then engage with what we've heard through a half-hour sermon.
If you're coming to one of our evening meetings, join us for dinner from 7pm. For £2 you get a hot meal, dessert and excellent company!
Sundays during Durham University term time
7.45-9.15pm, The Appleby Rooms
We finish the day with Connecting with God, where we make plenty of space for worship and response to God. We hear teaching from scripture and give testimonies of what God has been doing in our lives.
