Every Sunday, our main weekly gathering
10.30am-12.00pm, Durham Students Union
Our meetings always begin with worship in order to bring our focus towards Jesus our King. We believe in giving time to praise God, to celebrate his work in creation, salvation and our future hope, and allowing him to speak to us through the Holy Spirit.
Also central to Sunday Mornings is the preaching of Scripture. Our normal pattern is to work systematically through a book of the Bible.
Another important part of our meetings is the opportunity to have fellowship with one another, and we encourage everyone to stay for teas and coffees after the meeting.
If you have kids, see our Children and Families section for details of our children's groups.
Sundays during University term-time
7.00-8.30pm, St Oswald's Institute
Our evening meetings follow a simple format: half an hour of opening worship, half an hour engaging with Scripture, and half an hour of response.
The band begin leading worship 5 or 10 minutes before the formal start of the meeting. Do feel free to stick around for refreshments and fellowship afterwards.
Evening Worship kicks off for the new academic year on October 7.
