People from all over the world come to worship with us at Kings and many of these are international students studying at Durham University.
Whether you're an International Student or a UK student (or non-student) who is interested in meeting people from other cultures, we have two different groups that meet regularly in term-time that you may be interested in getting involved in.
Interact
Mondays, 8-9.30pm
Shoichi Hall Lounge, Teikyo University
Interact is our weekly social event for international and UK students and is for anyone who wants to make friends with people of other cultures in a chilled-out environment.
We usually have some kind of cultural theme each week, and also get involved in cultural events and sightseeing trips run locally, go out for meals, and generally join in anything that looks fun!

Join us at Shoichi Hall each Monday for food, drinks, games, parties, etc! Contact Ben Ward through the church office or come along on a Monday between 8-9.30pm.
Other ways to get involved
College Reps
We need publicity reps for each college, mostly to put up posters and to promote Interact events, whilst working with International Reps and students within their college to raise awareness of international students and their needs.
Other Groups
If you're an International Student who lives closer to the town centre or you're not free on Mondays, you may be interested in going along to a similar group to Interact called Amigos, which meets on Wednesday evenings from 8-10pm at St Nic's Church.
More Information
For more information on any of these events please speak to anyone on the International Student team at church on Sunday or contact them through the church office.
