Student Cells are at the heart of student ministry at Kings – if Kings is your church in Durham, cell is the first place to get involved.
Cells are midweek small groups (usually 8-12 people) which provide the opportunity for small group discipleship, bible study, worship and prayer together. They are led by students and run every week during uni term time – except the first week of each term when we have Student Gathering, meeting together as a whole student body!
Cells meet on Tuesday or Thursday evenings and each cell is part of either City (Tuesdays) or Equip (Thursdays) Cluster. Cluster Nights are meetings of several cell groups together; they are a place for students to participate in Christian community in a context smaller than the Sunday meetings but bigger than a cell. They involve worship, a Bible talk, fellowship and time in individual cell groups.
City Cluster
Tuesday cells are part of City Cluster. These cells meet in homes around the city, but come together a few times a term for a Cluster Night.
Equip Cluster
Thursday cells are part of Equip Cluster. These cells meet together in the Appleby Rooms, to have time in cells and a Cluster Night every week. This Cluster is particularly suited to those wanting to dig deeply into the Bible with talks every week.

The best way to get involved in a cell is to sign up to Kings if you haven’t done so already. Otherwise, let the student team know and they’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
