Prayer is an essential part of life at King’s, and we hold it central to our community. We believe that God loves to hear us seeking his wisdom and power for all areas of our life together as a Church.
We gather together to pray for specific needs within the church, and for the wider world too. This includes a focus on our outreach ministries, individuals within our community, and needs and events around the world.
Monday Morning Prayer Gatherings
Our weekly Monday Morning Prayer Gatherings are normally held from 10.00-11.00am. We are currently holding these on Zoom. Contact us for the link and password.
Prayer & Praise Evenings
Our quarterly Prayer & Praise Evenings are held on Friday evenings from 6.00-10.00pm in The Appleby Rooms. There are a variety of slots where we pray for our church, the city of Durham and the wider world. We begin each slot with a time of worship, allowing room for God to speak to us, and leaving space for the Holy Spirit to move.
We have times of intercession, reflective worship, prophetic prayer over the evening. For more information of our next evening go to our calendar. Our next time together is Friday, 13 January 2023.
