Having now been here several days we feel more comfortable in Mostar and with both the Novi Most team and the kids. It has been a real privilege to get along side the team here and bless them in their ministry here and encourage them in their walk with Christ.

We have now had two more Klub nights, one for the younger kids and a themed night for the whole age range 11-21 years. The younger kids are really enthusiastic about getting involved in activities and chat away to us all along, not always aware that we have no idea what they are saying!

At the Superhero theme night on Thursday it was great to see many of the older kids also getting involved and encouraging the younger ones along the way. We had a lot of fun and hopefully so did the kids as we dressed up in silly outfits and played the most ridiculous games in teams. The Interns have done a really great job planning and carrying out activities for Klub nights - it can be very difficult to manage the competitiveness of the kids at times but everyone is rising to the challenges!

It has also been a real privilege to go and visit many of the kids in their homes at Bišce Polije and Karašebeš, two refugee camps just outside town. It can be quite a shocking experience but there is so much life amongst the people we have met there and I enjoyed the most amazing coffee as we received their generous hospitality!

Time is really flying by so please pray that we continue to make the very most of the time we have here. Please also continue to pray for good rest as we are all struggling at times with restless sleep and weariness throughout the day. We need the Lord's protection and your prayers are invaluable to us. Please pray also that we are able to communicate clearly with the young people as we get to meet with many of them for the third or fourth time. There are so many great young people who are incredibly talented and it would be great to be able to encourage them to live in hope rather than dwelling in despair.
