Student Houseparty 2007 - pictures!
Report by Naomi Aves. Pictures below.
After driving through thick fog and safely arriving at the Jonas centre, everyone came together in the main hall as house-party was about to begin!
On the first night, Mark Bonnington explained the background information and the context of the Lords Prayer for us. The next day, Karl Martin taught us about calling 'God our Father' and the intimacy we are invited to share with him as children of God. Then, he taught us about ‘your kingdom come, your will be done’, and finally ending with 'forgiveness' and ‘deliverance’.
Throughout house-party we also met in cabin groups. During this time we shared our hopes and concerns with each other and prayed for each other. Food, fun, and fellowship were enjoyed by all. Mafia also played a dominant role in our spare time. The Interns were generally all killed during this game!
Many thanks to those who led: Karl Martin, Mark, Chris and Phil, and the worship leaders. Many thanks too to Ben and Hannah who worked hard in the kitchen and provided us with delicious food.

Into the fog...

Charismatic worship reaches new heights!
Or do they need deliverance..?
So who actually won?
Phil, Becky, love it.
Christmas wrapping practice!
A sensible picture.
Our beautiful nativity scene. Can you spot Jean Luc-Wise Man-Picard? And a South Park king? But who is that mysterious red creature on the left? (Answers on a postcard please...)
That straw looks a bit prickly!
