Alpha for Students and Young Adults
"An opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in churches of all types across the world. Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over a series of thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day away."
The launch night for the course is on Thursday 28 January at 7.00pm in the Appleby Rooms. There will be a short talk to introduce the course, live music and free curry.
The course starts on Thursday 4 February. Each Thursday evening consists of a meal, music, a short talk on a specific subject (such as Who is Jesus?, What About Evil and Does God Heal Today?, Why and How Do I Pray?) and open discussion in a small group. No questions are barred and discussion is usually wide ranging!
