Student Alpha 2008

Students, got questions about faith? Have a friend who wants to find out more about Jesus? Check out Student Alpha, running this term at the Appleby Rooms on Thursday evenings. Last chance to join the course on Thursday 30 October at 6.45pm (with food!)

Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all types across the world. Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day away.

We are running Student Alpha this term at the Appleby Rooms. Be thinking and praying about who you could invite!

When & Where?

Thursdays, 6.45pm at the Appleby Rooms. Including meal.

What Happens?

Each Thursday evening consists of a meal, followed by a talk on a specific subject (such as Who is Jesus?, Why and how do I pray?, Does God Heal Today?) and open discussion in a small group. No questions are barred, and discussion is usually wide ranging!
