King’s Church is a lively, Bible-based and missional community church worshipping at the heart of Durham City. It is a meeting place for people of many backgrounds and cultures focussed on living and speaking for Jesus.
Our main distinctives are the holding together of serious commitment to the systematic preaching of Scripture, engagement with the life and gifts of the Holy Spirit and active in mission and service in the local community and further afield. Leadership and Connections
Mark Bonnington heads up the Kings leadership team which as a group oversees the life of Kings. The leadership team is supported by the church staff, the interns and a large team of volunteers involved with every aspect of Kings’ life and mission.
Kings is an Ichthus Link church, a member of the Evangelical Alliance and subscribes to the EA basis of faith.
