About us

King’s Church is a lively charismatic evangelical church worshipping at the heart of Durham City.

We are committed to the preaching of Scripture, open to the work of the Holy Spirit and active in mission and service in the local community.

Mission Statement

Kings Church Durham is a Christian community that exists to make wholehearted disciples of Jesus, to develop the gifts of every individual, equipping them for service in the world and to proclaim the gospel of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

This mission statement is elaborated in our vision and values.

Leadership

Mark Bonnington heads up the Kings leadership team. The leadership team is supported by the church staff, the interns and a large team of volunteers involved with the various aspects of Kings' life and mission.

Connections

Kings is an Ichthus Link church and a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
